Signed-in projects sync to the cloud. Signed-out work stays in this browser. Offline means the session cannot reach the server.
What is cloud vs local?
Cloud projects belong to your signed-in account and sync across devices. Local projects live in this browser only. The status pill in the Top Navigation Bar shows Cloud, Local, or Offline.
How sync status works
Offline means a signed-in session cannot reach the server. Edits wait to sync. They do not silently fall back to localStorage. Sign in if you want drafts to follow you to another device.
