Links
A link is a URL on a button, image, menu item, social icon, or a span of text. Health Check flags leftover placeholder URLs.
What are links?
Links take the recipient somewhere: a product page, a video, or a social profile. Buttons, images, menus, social icons, and inline text can all have a destination. Video thumbnails always link to the video URL.
How to set them
| Property | Options | Used for |
|---|---|---|
| href | Destination URL | Where the tap goes. Avoid leftover example.com placeholders. |
| linkTitle | Tooltip / title attribute | Extra context for the link |
| linkTarget | _blank or _self on image links | Whether the link opens in a new tab |
| Inline links | Selected text in Text, Heading, List, and table cells | A URL on part of a sentence |
Health Check flags placeholder URLs. Update them before you send.
